Open the revenue report

Open Reports from the navigation bar. The Revenue Dashboard gives you a clear read on the money flowing through your catering business.

The four figures

The report breaks revenue into four numbers:

• Collected: payments actually received during the selected period.
• Invoiced: the total you billed during the selected period (excluding voided invoices).
• Outstanding: what's currently still owed across your open invoices.
• Not yet invoiced: booked work you have not billed yet. For each event that is not cancelled, it is the latest accepted proposal's total (an archived proposal is skipped) less what the event's invoices already bill (a voided invoice does not count, and a deposit on an earlier version of the proposal does). After a 50% deposit, the other half shows here until you invoice the remaining balance.

Together they answer the questions that matter: how much came in, how much you billed, how much is still owed, and how much is left to bill.

Filter by period

1. Pick a preset (This Month, Last Month, This Quarter, This Year, or All Time) to instantly update the collected and invoiced figures.
2. Or set a custom span: enter dates in the From and To fields and click Apply.

Outstanding and Not yet invoiced reflect where things stand now rather than a single period, so you always see the full amount still owed and still to bill.

Revenue over time

The report also shows revenue by month, so you can spot seasonality and track growth across your catering calendar.
